It all started when…
A man asked a group of nurses to raise their hand if they had ever experienced violence in the workplace. Every nurse did, and a movement was born.
Raise Your Hand (RYH) started as a social media campaign and has evolved into a community of people with the common goal of working towards ending violence in the workplace for healthcare workers.
RYH’s work and presence is continuing to change. Thank you for for joining us on our journey.
There are approximately 180,000 nurses in the United States. In the last week, more than half of them have been victim to an assualt (either physically or verbally) and 13% of those individuals sustained some type of injury. We must join together and put an end to this. #RaiseYourHand
